ABOUT
The Paoletti Tessuti company was established in the 1970s, years in which it underwent a constant evolution. For some time, it has been moving towards increasingly responsible production, through a new development model where care for the environment, respect for humans, and economic sustainability coexist. The work is aimed at introducing sustainable products onto the market, not as an alternative, but as the only responsible choice. The company has obtained the important BCI (Better Cotton Initiative), GRS (Global Recycle Standard) and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certifications. This is how “P.eco” was born, a project that began in 2015 with the construction of a new production plant powered by a latest-generation photovoltaic system, for a production environment with low energy consumption and therefore reduced environmental impact.
FOCUS
The Paoletti Tessuti company produces woven and semi-finished fabrics for the leather goods, footwear, furnishing and aapparel sectors. The articles range from the production of customised jacquard fabrics, woven and stitched, plain and patterned fabrics in natural fibres such as cotton, linen, wool, nylon and polyester. It produces personal project prints from fabric bases produced by the company.
