Certified raw bovine hides optimised for tannery processing
Since 1996, the Ghiropelli company has been a global point of reference for trading in fresh salted bovine hides. Cow hides are sourced from leading European and Italian slaughterhouses, following careful selection of suppliers and materials.
When they arrive at the company, the raw hides undergo a manual process consisting of two preparatory stages for subsequent processing by the tanneries: selection and cutting. In this process nothing of the leather is wasted, even the scraps are resold to be reused in other sectors, for example for the production of work gloves or jelly.
The Ghiropelli company has always paid the utmost attention to product traceability, working with suppliers who operate in full compliance with current regulations. This is why all their hides are ICEC and LWG certified, to guarantee clients maximum transparency, providing them with documented and verifiable information on the provenance of the hides.
