ABOUT
A piece of furniture capable of transforming itself in time and space, following the needs of those who live it: IX-Cube is the innovative modular design furniture, 100% Made in Italy, born from the partnership between architect Finazzi and Aldo Belbruti of ERRE BIBI, a company specialised in the development of leather goods and furnishings. IX-Cube is a 22x22 cm cube that gets its inspiration from the famous coloured blocks and allows furniture to be re-interpreted in a fluid and dynamic way: it is possible to create infinite modular combinations with the same structure which can be transformed into a sofa now, into an armchair tomorrow, or an island or even a footrest.
FOCUS
In order to facilitate the planning and creativity of architects and interior designers, ERRE BIBI has developed a 3D configurator that consents to designing the geometric variant suited to the customer’s space, with the possibility of also selecting the up- holstery of the modules - choosing from one or more types ofleathers and fabrics - the colours and finishes of the supports, so as to interpret the style as well. Through augmented reality, the configurator makes it possible to visualise the design on a 1-to- 1 scale within the space to be furnished, with the advantage of enabling the customer to perceive the final result in real time and, if necessary, to intervene through new combinations.
