The Bernardini company, based in Arzignano, has been producing chemicals for the wet tanning phase for over forty-five years. It is a long-lived company with a time-honoured tradition where the third generation of the Bernardini family is currently active. The excellence of this Veneto-based company is conveyed by its high-performance products, made mostly from raw materials of natural and renewable origin, according to the company’s motto “Ecological Leather Chemicals”. The picture is completed by ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications in addition to the aforementioned Level 3 of the ZDHC program.

FOCUS

The Bernardini company has obtained Level 3 certification of the ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) program according to the ICEC TS 420 technical specification. This demanding path lasted many years and was undertaken by the company to obtain Level 3, the highest level, which certifies the absence of hazardous substances in the company’s products but also their status as absolute vanguards with respect to the market. There are currently two hundred Bernardini chemical products registered on the ZDHC Chemical Gateway platform. This guarantees the Veneto-based company’s compliance with the Roadmap to Zero program, which aims to limit the elimination of the most hazardous chemicals in the industry according to the MSRL 3.1 list.
