A laboratory of ideas and solutions in the field of workmanship for clothing, leather goods and footwear, Emmegi Ricami, now in its second generation, has been transforming the ideas of haute couture designers into custom achievements since 1988. Automatic precision embroidery, laser cutting, sequin and bead machine application, printing, cornely, thermo appliqué and HF welding are some of the processes performed. Fabrics and leathers of all kinds are used to create innovative designs through different stitches: from the classics to specialty stitches such as sneakers, terry, carpet, needlework to the use of chains. The company works on both piazzato and individual components.

Focus

The beating heart of Emmegi Ricami is the design studio, a hotbed of ideas and a center for research and development of novelties that go into a very rich sample book from which brands can draw inspiration for custom work. Research begins with forecasting trends, both through market studies and drawing from the world of culture, and then focusing on experimenting with new techniques. The design team is also involved in industrializing the process of typically manual workmanship, making large-scale production possible. The extensive know-how also allows for mélange of different techniques to create innovative material effects.
