Taddei Manzi & C. is a company based in Santa Croce sull’Arno (PI), specialising in chemical products for tanneries. The company constantly invests resources in research and development of products that comply with current regulations and sector specifications; in this regard, it has achieved ZDHC certification by registering more than 150 products at Level 3 on the Gateway, in compliance with the ZDHC MRSL (v.3.1). Recently, the company inaugurated a new showroom, a prestigious meeting point for insiders and clients where they can present their new collections and develop partnerships and market synergies.

FOCUS

The Taddei Manzi & C. company is developing a new tanning system with a low environmental impact, already tested and in the implementation phase, based on products with a high bio-based carbon content and derived from circular economy processes as they come from recycling. The products used make it possible to bypass a tanning step while maintaining the same quality as traditional processing, thus reducing the total process by seven hours. By eliminating the use of salt, it is also possible to reduce the presence of TDS in wastewater, which adds up to significant water savings - up to 50% less water used - with consequent economic and energy benefits.
