Conceria Casadacqua
Two Zuma Group excellences to dress high fashion in exotic and reptile skins
Quality, innovation, and client focus for a unique product range in the fine leather sector
Established in 2016, the Casadacqua company is a tannery focused on the production of exotic and reptile skins that do not require CITES certification. High-quality processed materials include Karung, Ayers, and Elaphe reptile skins, all of which are used to produce fine products and accessories for leading fashion and luxury brands. The company, part of the Zuma Pelli Pregiate group, is able to satisfy every client customisation need. Processing is carried out with state-of-the-art machinery that, combined with extraordinary care and attention, gives the leather a unique and singular appearance, through various types of prints or handmade nuances and designs. Innovation combines with the artisanship of a product of excellence, strictly Made in Italy and compliant with European and non-European standards. With the recent acquisition of the Conceria Centrorettili company in Santa Croce sull’Arno, the Zuma group, already a centre of excellence in the processing of fine leather, is able to offer the market a unique range of products in the field of exotic and reptile skins. «In this first phase - says Marco Sani, on the Zuma group’s Board of Directors - we are proceeding with a process of alignment of the three companies, Zuma, Casadacqua, and Centrorettili, from the perspective of production standards, certifications, and logistics, to then proceed, as a long-term objective, with a product differentiation capable of covering all the demands of the fine leather market, from customised products to more standard products, thus creating a unique business reality in this sector at a global level.»
