Founded by Denio Matteoli in 2002, the Lasermarc company was born from the Matteoli family’s desire to combine decades of experience in the footwear sector with laser technology. The company specialises in intaglio and laser engraving on leather for the apparel, leather goods, and footwear sectors and is able to work on whole leather or on placed skins, producing customized articles. The intaglio process can reproduce the scaled skin of reptiles or form geometric patterns; the laser processing can engrave lettering, logos, or draw shapes and images. In recent years, the company has not stopped at decorations and perforations, but also produces hand-painting on patent leather, which allows the nuances of the design to be maintained, creating unique effects. The Lasermarc company collaborates with established companies specialising in the finishing of leather, as well as the creation of panels for bags, wallets, and accessories: workmanship that, together with the company’s own, adds great value and makes the product finished. The company also consults with stylists and researchers to create made-to-measure collections.
