The Pegaso company processes both classic waterproof as well as Gore-Tex technology, where the leather’s waterproofing requirements are complemented by breathability requirements. The company also continues its commitment towards sustainability, which is at the heart of the entire processing cycle. The “Leather green” project is proof of this: the innovative tanning process replaces chemical tanning agents with organic alternatives, resulting in a quality leather with an excellent technical performance and resistance, as well as being non-toxic and hypoallergenic. The company has also implemented a recycling system for processing compound residues and uses only FSC recycled paper for packaging.
