The Seit Elettronica company’s latest frontier is called Soul, taking the insole laser cutting system to the next level with a process that becomes fully automated to guarantee impeccable precision and quality. In fact, thanks to integrated 3D scanners, Soul can recreate a digital version of each insole to be machined, thus eliminating imperfections resulting from the production process of the insole itself. The objectives of this innovation are twofold: on the one hand, to guarantee absolute precision, with a clear advantage in terms of increased comfort, quality, and aesthetics of the footwear; on the other hand, since it is a fully automatic machining process in both the loading and unloading of the insoles, productivity can be increased, especially for companies that have to carry out the production of a certain quantity in a short time. In addition, the size of the machine is smaller and soon there will also be automatic recognition of the material to be processed. This is a feather in the cap of the Treviso-based company, whose goal is to further expand the Soul system by adding new functions capable of guaranteeing automation of the drawing process, which is unthinkable today.
