Effegi is a family-run company in the province of Lucca and is specialised in the moulding of shoe bottoms and soles for the footwear industry.

Founded in the 1990s as a shoe factory by Giovanni Vardaro and Filomena Castello, the company successively specialised in moulding and sets itself apart by its mix of technology and artisanship. «Our sector of reference is 90% footwear - explain the owners - we mould cork bottoms mixed with PVC, a 70% natural product, in accordance with REACH regulations.

We use various types of high-tech machinery: rotary carousels, linear presses for moulding even technical articles, modular machines for moulding TR and expanded TR. In addition, for some years now, we have also been moulding polypropylene clogs».
