Since 1997, the MARCOM Import Export company has been active in various areas of the footwear sector. Specialised in the production of high-quality foils, plates, and rivets, it has been in close commercial relations with insole and footwear manufacturers for over thirty years.
Thanks to its solid and active experience in the footwear industry, the company has developed a strongly client-oriented approach where professionalism, innovation, and expertise are fundamental elements for a production that is based on the defence of traceability and respect for sustainability.
FOCUS
The company has long been committed to the innovative open-source Smart Shank system that turns the foil into a real service platform. Each foil is assigned an RFID and NFC chip with two memories: one is immutable and represents the product’s identity card, the other can be registered with a secret code chosen by the manufacturer that enables the shoe to be identified within the entire supply chain.
No less strategic is the double-label solution in each box. The barcode provides detailed descriptions of the article, while the two QR codes display the quantity and the production code. The company also keeps perfectly identified physical samples of all productions for three years to support traceability.
