The Arpex company is a leader in the Made in Italy scenario. Founded in Barletta in 1979 initially as a shoelace manufacturer, it is a family-run business that bases its principles deeply on fairness and respect for its work and clients. «We were founded in the years when Barletta was becoming the home of a famous footwear centre of excellence - says the company owner Aldo Musti - and right from the start, our choice was to be an artisanal business».
A choice that has not limited the evolution of the Arpex company which, in the meantime, has expanded its production to every type of ribbons for trimmings and footwear as well as being the first company in Southern Italy to produce its own woven labels. «I like to define our company as an industrialised artisan group – Aldo Musti continues - we own our modern production plant, have an excellent financial rating certified by various honours, have technologically advanced and well-stocked machinery, and an optimised organisation to strive in satisfying all our clients, with the national and international Luxury markets as our objective».
