How did Loewe make this coat?

Nappa leather and ostrich blending together for an extremely “smooth” gradient effect. Loewe returns to amaze with yet another garment that combines creativity with a love for leather, a material with which it continues to experiment and play.

This time it is a coat that, precisely, seems to be made of two types of leather as if fused together, which are actually the result of a smart processing also used previously by the Spanish brand. In fact, the gradient effect is achieved with a two-tone ombré treatment on a sheep nappa leather, previously embossed to simulate ostrich skin.

The coat is the latest in a series of outerwear that play on the fusion effect between two different materials, such as the suede nappa leather trucker jacket with the upper part printed and varnished to simulate full-grain leather.
