Fringes will be the undisputed stars of our summer, and brands have not let them slip away. In the recently released bag collections, these processes are everywhere, even reinterpreted in the most creative variations. For this reason, we have selected three fringe variations that stood out for their originality.
FRINGE LOOP
Polène combines aesthetics and sustainability: in the Numéro Neuf mini, leather scraps are transformed into thin rings, hand-sewn very tightly to completely cover the bag (including the handles). This design, inspired by willow, creates a fluid and dynamic movement, offering a more sophisticated and contemporary interpretation of fringes.
MIRROR EFFECT FRINGES
Dolce&Gabbana transforms them into a precious process: the new bag from the Bubù line is made of mordoré nappa and decorated with mirror-effect embroidered fringes. Finished with a closure with applied crystals, this proposal takes fringes out of the hippy universe, to transform them into a real jewel suitable for the most special occasions.
STUDDED FRINGES
Prada also interprets the fringe trend, redesigning the classic Galleria in a new version with an elongated silhouette. This bag is enriched with wide fringes, obtained from a strip of leather folded and sewn. Two golden studs have been applied at the end as decoration. Made of calfskin, the bag immediately conveys a decisive and contemporary character.
