Another beautiful season for leather on the runway has come to an end: the Fall Winter 2026 shows once again demonstrated how this material can spark designers’ creativity and offer increasing versatility for creating truly unique craftsmanship.

A striking example is the coat made of knotted leather laces by Loewe, which recreates the fluffy effect of fur, as well as the bas-relief weaving by Louis Vuitton, which creates a spectacular pattern for a coat that certainly does not go unnoticed.

But brands didn’t give us only runway showpieces: Ferrari used leather to create a tortoiseshell effect, featured on jackets, trousers and trench coats, while Bottega Veneta complemented its signature intrecciato weave with a series of looks made from pleated-effect leather.
