THINDOWN® is the first and only down firm fabric, patented worldwide by NIPI (Natural Insulation Products Inc.), produced in Chieti and distributed by NIPI Italia, a 4.0 company that employs new production technologies and is particularly attentive to energy consumption.
In fact, no water is used to produce THINDOWN®, there is no CO2 emission and the impact on the environment is minimal.
This type of upholstery, is characterized by an even distribution of feathers which, thanks to the absence of seams in horizontal sections, prevents the passage of cold and the escape of feathers; it is thus suitable for multiple uses: clothing, accessories, automotive, home, etc.
Feathers, in the form of fabric with different thicknesses, can be processed ( cut, sewn and laminated) to any other fabric.
The company offers different types of the same product including THINDOWN® Fiberfill, made from down fiber waste and THINDOWN® Recycled, a variant of the fabric made from 100% post-consumer recycled down, certified by GRS: Global Recycle Standard.
