The four-day events confirm the recovery of the sectors represented and belonging to Confindustria Moda, which continue to stand out for an interesting and complementary offer, maintaining the synergy established in the last two years.
There was great satisfaction at MICAM Milano, MIPEL, TheOneMilano and HOMI Fashion&Jewels, the events dedicated to fashion and accessories that closed on February 22 at Fiera Milano Rho. Testifying to an established recovery in the fashion industry, the shows touched off a dynamic demand from Italian and foreign buyers, the latter about 50 percent of the total. The more than 1,800 exhibiting companies met 48,276 trade visitors, up 25 percent from the previous edition. The best performance of European countries came from Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Greece and Spain, but excellent results were also recorded by South Korea, Japan and Kazakhstan.
MICAM Milan, Mipel, TheOneMilano and Homi Fashion&Jewels stood out for bringing the best of Made in Italy jointly with the most important international excellences to the fair. Ample space was given to young people from all over the world through ad hoc projects such as the "Emerging Designers" area: the new generation of talents contributed to tracing a path made of innovation and creativity that increasingly characterizes the protagonist sectors of the four events. Alongside the events, in-depth appointments such as talks, seminars and trend forecasting were very well attended, highlighting important and topical issues for the sector such as sustainability, innovation and training.
To sanction the centrality of the shows also at the institutional level, the four days of fairs welcomed the visit of government representatives such as Ministers Daniela Santanché and Matteo Salvini, Deputy Minister Valentino Valentini, Undersecretaries Lucia Albano and Paola Frassinetti, as well as the Governor of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana.
Appointment for the next editions: MICAM Milano, Mipel and TheOneMilano will be held from September 17th to 20th, 2023, and HOMI Fashion&Jewels from September 15th to 18th, 2023, also at Fiera Milano Rho.
