Mipel, the 124th edition opens the doors to the Travel sector
Four days, an exhibition itinerary of over 4000 m2 and more than 160 brands selected from historic brands and emerging national and international companies. The 124th edition of Mipel, the most important international event dedicated to leather goods and fashion accessories organized by Assopellettieri, is warming up its engines. From 17 to 20 September, at Fiera Milano Rho, the world of leather goods returns to show itself to buyers and visitors from all over the world, to offer a complete vision of the new spring/summer 2024 collections. From 19th to 21st September Mipel Lab also returns, the innovative trade fair format dedicated to the Italian production sourcing of luxury leather goods created by Assopellettieri in collaboration with Lineapelle, with which it will share the spaces inside Pavilion 9.
Like every edition, the creative proposal will frame the initiatives and projects that will be implemented to give prestige and prestige to the event and attract the curiosity of buyers and qualified visitors from all over the world. The fair, organized with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (Maeci), of Agenzia Ice and with the patronage of the Municipality of Milan, this year sees the preview presentation of a new project which will officially see the light of day on next February: an area entirely dedicated to the Travel & Business sector which will have the Lombard luggage brand Bric's as ambassador.
Among the other innovations, an exhibition area reserved exclusively for brands and designers selected in collaboration with the Mirta digital showroom (Hall 3), based on criteria such as creativity, innovation and research, with the aim of further expanding the offer present in fair. The Trend Area, a space created in collaboration with the Mipel Fashion Committee, will instead lead visitors to discover the main trends of SS24. And again the initiative "The Italian Startup Project" (in collaboration with Maeci and Agenzia Ice) which will see carefully selected start-ups, designers and emerging brands as protagonists.
