These words are spoken by Luigi Cecchi who has lived his life as a leather goods manufacturer and owner of Re Artù, a Florentine company specialized in the production of belts, bags and leather accessories for the major brand market, but also leaving room for new projects. Mr. Cecchi explains: “I started over thirty-five years ago, crafting belts destined for the most important fashion boutiques in Italy. Over the years, my activity has evolved into a veritable company, but our characteristic is still our manual processes to create products that have a soul”. From sample making to the finished product with a special regard for belts, produced both in fine leathers and in calfskin, the true, traditional core business of Re Artù. “Recently we have also started producing women’s handbags - continues Mr. Cecchi – which has always been my dream. We are designing a line under the “Re Artù” brand where the real protagonists will be leather and cowhide, which have always been my favourites.
