PITTITIME is the theme of this edition!

 

 

 

The winter edition of Pitti Uomo, number 105, will take place at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from January 9th to 12th, 2024. In the current international context, the event confirms itself as the point of reference for brands and designers, buyers and trade press at the opening of the season. Not only a showcase of excellence for the Fall/Winter 2024-2025 collections, but also a place that mirrors the trends, creativity and new instances that cross society. Emblematic are the choices as Guest designers of Luca Magliano and Steven Stokey-Daley, two young creatives - already protagonists at the beginning of their careers in special Pitti Uomo projects dedicated to emerging talents, respectively Who's On Next in 2017 and S-Style in 2021 - who will bring to Pitti Uomo many insights, as well as the spectacle of their fashion. On the attendance front, the number of exhibitors continues to grow, thanks in part to some important returns from key companies. Pitti Uomo in January will present the collections of 832 brands, with a relevant percentage of foreign brands (46 percent). The format of Pitti Uomo is confirmed in all its facets, with a layout that will emphasize individual sections, focuses on vintage and the pets world, and the expansion of international collaborations with the launch of NEUDEUTSCH, an unprecedented project on new wave design from Germany.

That's why PittiTime is the theme that characterizes Pitti Immagine's winter shows and the new Pitti Uomo adv campaign, directed by director Leonardo Corallini and coordinated by creative director Angelo Figus. "Nothing resembles Pitti Uomo more than time scanning, which, punctually, comes every season to propose, present, compare, anticipate, change," comments Agostino Poletto, general director of Pitti Immagine. "And on time also reflects fashion, accelerating collections in syncopated sequences of capsules, stabilizing in the timeless, defining the quiet luxury of garments that do not pass, in the continuous search for an identity heritage as a sign of continuity.
