Now in its second year is Louis Vuitton's Accessories Design Graduates Initiative, the competition through which the French fashion house goes in search of tomorrow's accessory designers among students at 32 fashion schools in Europe and the United States.

The project aims to emphasize the importance of leather accessories to the maison and to highlight the talent of the next generation of creative designers. Launched last November, the initiative attracted more than 200 applications, with 15 finalists getting the chance to visit the HQ in Paris and meet the artisans in the Asnières workshops.

Four Italian schools were selected for this edition: Istituto Marangoni Firenze, Accademia Costume & Moda, IED and Politecnico di Milano. Students will have until Feb. 2 to submit their projects by applying on the initiative's official website.
