Legor divests FOV brand
Legor, an Italian multinational group specializing in the transformation of metals into alloys, galvanic solutions and powders for the jewelry and fashion accessories sectors, announces the sale of the FOV (Forniture Orafe Vicentine) business unit and the birth of FOV S.r.l, a new company-which sees the entry of Paolo Bonato and Federica Galdeman, two professionals in the sector, and in which Legor will participate with a minority stake-even more specialized in the marketing of equipment and consumables for the goldsmith and technical-industrial sectors, which aims to expand its experience in the sector, with the goal of further establishing the FOV brand in the global Tools and Consumables market.
Founded in 1960 in Vicenza, Italy, the FOV brand has managed over time to gain prestige by offering quality products, both in Italy and abroad, and then to strengthen its reputation even more with the acquisition by Legor in 2007. Today, FOV s.r.l. presents itself with a precise vision: to become the global reference point for the gold and industrial sector, offering innovative solutions and tools that respect tradition, supporting continuous growth in the precious and technical industries. This important evolution is the result of the shared desire of Federica Galdeman and Paolo Bonato, respectively general manager and commercial director in the new company and protagonists of FOV's future development, to relaunch a historically recognized brand, going on to create a solid and competitive structure capable of responding effectively to the continuous evolution of the market.
