20 master craftsmen for 20 limited edition bags that showcase the magic and craftsmanship behind a handmade product in Italy: Fendi Hand in Hand is the maison's project that celebrates craftsmanship by giving space to exquisitely regional traditions that year after year are translated into special editions of the Roman brand's iconic bag, the Baguette.
The project, which began in 2020, continues to pay homage to ancient workshops with a new selection of regional workshops that have reinterpreted the bag using their own techniques: from brass engraving from Molise to Sicilian lace to Ligurian macramé.
Among the most spectacular creations is the Baguette created in collaboration with Artigianato d'Aloise, a workshop in Agnone (Molise) that has been working with metals since the late 19th century. The result is a crocheted Baguette with a two-tone effect, created through the application of over 750 leather and brass sequins engraved with the FF monogram and the signs of the zodiac.
