How do you turn an iconic perfume into a bag?

If the CK One perfume has marked the history of perfumery, now it is also leaving its mark on the world of accessories. For the Fall Winter 2025 collection, under the new creative direction of Veronica Leoni, Calvin Klein transforms its iconic bottle into a clutch with an essential and contemporary design. To learn more about the production process, we spoke with Labam, a company specializing in the production of accessories.
The bag faithfully reproduces the lines of the bottle, including the characteristic knurling of the cap, and is available in different materials. The metal versions—gold and silver—and the animalier plexiglass version start from a shaped sheet: the plexiglass is thermoformed, while the metal is cold pressed onto a mold to obtain the desired shape. The leather variant, on the other hand, is obtained by covering a rigid base, thus maintaining the solid structure of the accessory.
A key detail is the zip closure, present on all versions regardless of the material. This golden metal profile, in addition to ensuring functionality, becomes a distinctive aesthetic element. On the sides, two small metal eyelets allow you to attach the thin chain shoulder strap, ensuring balance and practicality when worn.
This bottle clutch marks the beginning of a new path for Calvin Klein, which aims to create iconic accessories capable of fusing its heritage with a modern language. Under Leoni's guidance, this could be just the first of a series of bags destined to leave their mark on the fashion landscape.
