The first meeting of the second edition of the "THINK BAG" project will be held on February 16, 2022: an opportunity offered by Leather & Luxury and Loipell for Polimoda students to create an iconic bag of their own brand and to market it in important Italian stores.
The project, which in the first edition was won by the Lilia bag by designer Natalia Lilian, is aimed at students in their third year in Leather Technology and those in the Master in Bag Design. The aim of the project is, on the one hand, to encourage the flourishing creativity of the new generations and, on the other, to support future designers in the production, commercial and marketing processes.
The THINK BAG project consists in the design, production and marketing of a bag - be it a clutch, purse, backpack, fanny pack or briefcase. In addition, students will have to take into account some fundamentally important criteria, such as feasibility/feasibility, design, innovation and functionality.
Students will have to respect a maximum budget for the production of each piece, and its packaging. The quality of the materials will be guaranteed by the partnership with Leather & Luxury and the Network of companies with which it collaborates for the supply of materials such as leathers and fabrics, accessories and processing.
Each student will present the handcrafted sample of the bag to the jury, composed of an online survey and an in-person physical jury. Afterwards, Loipell will produce 10 pieces of the winning design. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Meyer Children's Hospital Foundation.

Delivery of the projects and subsequent selection by the jury - consisting of representatives of Loipell, Leather & Luxury, Polimoda, partners, journalists, buyers - and the online jury. - June - October
Production of the 10 bags of the winning project for subsequent promotion by Leather & Luxury at the international fairs of MIPEL and LINEAPELLE and marketing in stores.
