Tannery Il Ponte opens the doors of its new showroom and enters new markets
Air of renewal for Tannery Il Ponte. New face for the historic headquarters, with a showroom that takes the form of a year-round exhibition booth, and at the same time, the decision to sound out the English and Vietnamese markets by participating in trade fairs. "We changed the layout of our headquarters," explains Martina Squarcini, "creating new offices and a showroom on the second floor. The idea behind the new showroom space is to create a kind of trade fair exhibition, active 365 days a year, where our customers can appreciate and learn about all our items and understand, by touching with their hands, what they can make with our products."
In fact, the showroom hosts the display of all the main items of Tannery Il Ponte: vegetable-tanned sides, shoulders, rump, items that have always distinguished the company, in trendy colors. Alongside these here are also finished products such as sandals, wallets, belts and bags-a way to show customers all the possible variations of the tannery's leathers. Each leather comes with the Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata al Vegetale label, certifying that the company's leather is tanned with only plant extracts, such as mimosa and quebracho.
Along with a trade show booth where it can "play at home," Tannery il Ponte will also participate for the first time in two new trade shows, opening up to new markets. "On July 11th we will be at Lineapelle London (Windmill room, No. 11)," explains Squarcini, "the English market appreciates vegetable and we would like to increase the export of items to this country.
The second novelty is participation in the International Shoes & Leather Exhibition Vietnam, July 12th-14th, "a new market where there are many leather goods and footwear companies that have shown interest in our items." Finally, confirmed presence at Lineapelle Milan (Sept. 19th-21st). "As always," explains Squarcini, "we will be in Hall 15 (stand H21-K22) where we will show, as in London and Vietnam, the new FW 24/25 trends.
