The technology that turns leather into a work of art by Buzzi
With the Buzzi company’s high-frequency welding machinery, leathers destined for luxury products seem to come to life: embossing, high reliefs, and bas-reliefs, even on surfaces printed with inks, bestowing them with a unique personality.
The company has specialised in the design and construction of welding machines made to order since 1980 and, thanks to a dedicated technical staff, is able to carry out modifications and customisation in every aspect - mechanical, electrical, and software - according to the most modern 4.0 Industry standards. The machinery’s high-frequency welding technique makes it possible to create leather deformations and customisations, exploiting the principle of cold embossing, giving it value and decoration, while preserving its grain, lustre, ink, softness, and elasticity. Unlike hot embossing, it consents to carrying out extremely delicate, detailed, and permanent processing. Originally developed for small/medium leather goods, the use of this technology is now increasingly moving towards large work formats.
