With more than 40 years of experience in the footwear, leather goods, apparel, furniture and automotive sectors, R79 brings together all the know-how of the Francavilla family, which still leads the company today with the second generation. The company, which designs and produces 100% made in Italy semi-finished products, was founded in 1979 and, over time, has become a leader in the fashion sector for semi-finished products. "The business," explain the team at R79 SRL, "ranges from the production of loom woven to hand woven to patchwork panels. One close-knit and qualified in-house staff is in charge of research, design and development, making use of the collaboration of a network of artisan and industrial-type companies capable of meeting the various demands of the best brands.
With a sustainable outlook and great sensitivity to the environment, the business operates with recycled products, offers weaves with yarn obtained from recycled paper straw for food use, uses a vegetable tanned leather, without chemical agents. It also does garment-dyed work, with natural water-based colors. "A craft tradition ours," they finally comment, "with an eye always turned to the future.
