Belts are back: here are three must-have models of the season

In fashion, you know, everything comes back. And so, after years of absence, high-waisted belts are peeping out again as the stars of the winter 2024 collections. Here are 3 of them with unique constructions.
Alaïa's spiral belt
From the Fall Winter 2024 fashion show, Alaïa transforms the famous spiral top into an equally spectacular belt that defies convention with its innovative construction. Made of calfskin with a 3D-printed resin core, this belt needs no fasteners: it is simply worn by sliding it into place, while it retains its rigid shape.
Dior's pocket belt
Why not combine the useful with the delightful? Dior takes a cue from the iconic Saddle Bag and creates a belt with a functional detail: a pocket positioned on the front side, enhanced by the iconic Saddle flap and a D-shaped metal stirrup. Made of soft, smooth calfskin, again the closure is located on the back, with a double metal buckle that echoes the antiqued gold finish of the stirrup.
Loewe's Obi belt
Inspired directly by Japanese culture, Loewe reinvents the obi belt in a structured version. The high shape wraps around the waist, harking back to tradition with a back strap closure. Made of nappa leather with the distinctive embossed Anagram pattern, this belt features an unexpected detail: an overskirt at the bottom, with an asymmetric curve that almost recalls the shape of a corset.
