45th edition of Lineapelle New York kicks off
After the London edition, the Lineapelle road show arrives in New York on July 17 and 18 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea, the heart of New York City's contemporary art district. A landmark event for the U.S. market now in its 45th edition that, despite the generalized complexity of the economic situation, shows some encouraging signs for Italian leathers.
Lineapelle New York will host more than 110 exhibiting companies from Italy, France, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, Turkey, India, China, Mexico, Great Britain, Brazil and the United States. Trends developed by the LINEAPELLE Fashion Committee will be explored, as usual, during three creative seminars that will emphasize a focus on what can be defined as "craft intelligence." In other words: one of the greatest values of Made in Italy.
An Intelligent Heart is in fact the concept from which the Fashion Committee has taken its cue to outline the trends and stylistic highlights of the fall/winter 25/26 season. A mood that recognizes the importance of new technologies and artificial intelligence in improving people's lives, but at the same time emphasizes the need to put the heart back at the center of every choice in order to make room for human creativity and emotions to create objects capable of resonating with the world and having a positive impact.
It is no coincidence, therefore, that Lineapelle New York, to further enhance this concept, presents within its spaces the In the Making workshops, a multidisciplinary and experiential agora based on the concept of learning by doing and organized in collaboration with Giorgio Linea. Five workshops in two days (footwear, bags, leather, three-dimensionality and tailoring) will allow visitors to experience the raw material in its different declinations and try their hand at making small leather accessories.
A true multifaceted space, where to be inspired, learn, know and change perspective; where roles are contaminated, creating the premises for new synergies. In addition, at the event, will be, in the context of Mipel Lab, Sapaf and Tivoli Group, companies that stand as a benchmark in the development and production of leather goods for luxury brands worldwide.
