When we saw a crystal-covered hammer on the runway during the Fall Winter 2024 fashion show in February, we didn't even realize it was a bag. But instead, not only is the Hammer Bag by GCDS a real clutch, part of the collection inspired by Chucky the killer doll made in collaboration with Universal Studio, but it also sold out after less than 3 days of going on sale.

Made of acrylic, it has a silver enameled top while the handle, which opens and closes thanks to a magnet, is worked with a texture reminiscent of wood. Very light in spite of appearances, it is clearly tiny since the space inside the handle that makes up the clutch is really limited. The cost? 450 euros.

The collection went on sale on October 24, and the bag sold out almost immediately, proving that the brand founded by Giuliano Calza knows its audience and that its playful and provocative vision continues to appeal greatly to Gen Z.
