The designer, heir to the maison founded by her brother Gianni and who yesterday, after 30 years at the creative helm of the brand, announced her farewell to the stylistic direction, has always unquestionably declared her love for all that glitters, demonstrating collection after collection her passion for metallic netting and embroidery with patterns composed of thousands of sequins and beads in different shapes and colours.
A passion for maximalism that is certainly part of the family DNA, which Donatella Versace has been able to exalt to the utmost, making the accessories district of the industry decidedly, to paraphrase the post with which she gave the news of her change of role, proud of her.
