4 wow processing seen at LINEAPELLE

Full grain, treatments that are inconspicuous or that aim to highlight the value of the leather, neutral colors: the trend announced for next winter seems to confirm a desire to take refuge in safeties. Yet, wandering around the pavilions of Lineapelle one also senses a certain desire to surprise with interesting treatments, suitable for catching the eye. Here are five that caught our eye.

ALLIGATOR MESH
You know those metal bags from Paco Rabanne? That's the effect the Spanish company Verdeveleno has tried to achieve by using fine alligator skin instead of metal: hand-cut flake by flake, these are laminated and then joined together with mini metal rings. A very time-consuming (and expensive) process, however, that really leaves you speechless.

ARTISTIC PONY LEATHER
The leather is the classic pony skin, but treated as a canvas on which to draw custom or more “artistic” patterns: to achieve the stain effect, Vicenza Pelli uses a manual process that involves the use of synthetic solvents that corrode the fur revealing the leather, to which a foil is sometimes applied. The effect is incredibly beautiful, perfect especially for furniture but also for accessories or luxury garments.

COCCO NABUK
Cocco processing again, but this time it's a printed one: at Tannery Chameleon they do it on nubuck, for a luxury effect that gives softness and durability to the leather.

EXOTIC SEQUINS
Specializing in exotics of the highest level, La Patrie presents a wonderful ostrich that is worked sequin effect using a paper treatment. The result is a texture that fully preserves the grain of the animal's skin but is enhanced by shimmering gleams like, indeed, sequins.
